How We Recycle Rubble
McCarthy Marland receives thousands of tonnes of stone and hardcore into our Waste Transfer Stations each year and every last tonne is recycled back into the construction industry for reuse or recycling.
Stone and hardcore waste is collected from our customers via one of the standard collection services (skips, roll-on, roll-off containers, tipper lorries or grab vehicles). Alternatively, it can be delivered directly into our central Bristol Waste Transfer Station either in its separate state or mixed with other waste.
What happens to rubble
Stone and hardcore for recycling bricks, concrete, block-work, demolition stone, rubble, paving slabs, tiles and ceramics all of which undergo quality analysis to remove contamination before being graded for reuse or crushed for recycling.
