Plasterboard Recycling
We can collect plasterboard as segregated waste. Plasterboard can go into mixed waste skips however it must be segregated from the rest of the load in a tonne bag or alike. Plasterboard is collected in open or closed skips or roll-on roll-off containers.
We recommend the use of our covered skips when they are going to be sited in public locations as this prevents the contamination of the contents, accidental or otherwise.
Alternatively, customers can deliver plasterboard waste to our Waste Transfer Station in its segregated form or mixed with other construction or household waste. The plasterboard is then sorted and bulked up for transportation to gypsum recycling plants, where it is made back into plasterboard.
